CBS News, embroiled in a simmering controversy over the reporting behind a story for 60 Minutes, is looking ahead to the 2026 with an eye on promoting the new anchor of the CBS Evening News.
Connecticut native Tony Dokoupil is being sent on a ten city tour of the United States as he assumes the helm on January 5. The multi-city launch is being called “Live From America.” It will start in Miami, reach the west coast, and end up in Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh is as close as he’ll get to Connecticut.
