Former WTNH reporter Rachel Scott, described by many as a “rising star” at ABC News, has been promoted to be the network’s senior political correspondent covering both Congress and the White House.
The last year has put Scott at center stage. She led the network’s coverage of the first assassination attempt on President Trump. She was the reporter who asked the fair question that set Trump off on a rant at last summer’s meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists.
