In very brief responses, FCC chair and Connecticut native Jessica Rosenworcel has made clear she does not believe the FCC should use its power to force cable providers to remove conservative networks, like Fox News, from their line-ups.

Answering “no,” “yes,” and “no” to a series of written questions from Republican lawmakers during her confirmation process, Rosenworcel pledged to; avoid using the FCC remove conservative networks from local cable offerings, guaranteed she would not advocate for license revocation for conservative local broadcasters, and added the government does not have the right to censor opinions.
