In the world of the 24 second news cycle, most of the state of Connecticut has moved on from the story of the recent death of former Public Safety Commissioner Dr. Henry Lee, but at the University of New Haven, Lee’s passing is still being felt by many. Students and faculty alike.
In this week’s edition of the student run Charger-Bulletin newspaper, Associate Editor Alex Soto, has a front page story on Lee’s life and legacy at the school. Lee began teaching at UNH in 1975 soon after earning his Ph.D. He founded the school’s forensic science program and eventually opened the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Science.
