Tracey O’Shaughnessy of the Waterbury Republican-American and Hearst Connecticut Media is the winner of a writing award from the Society for Features Journalism.
O’Shaughnessy won in the category of Arts and Culture Criticism Portfolio.
The judges said, “O’Shaughnessy’s writing is lush with imagery. But naming her column ‘Sunday’s Reflections’ is somewhat of a misnomer because her musings are brilliantly vivid.”
