Ben, who grew up in Wethersfield, was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 8. He went through two years of extensive chemotherapy. While he still has the brain tumor, which is inoperable, the cancer is gone.
He remains very connected to Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall camp. As he says, “The building can be replaced, but the arts and crafts made by children who have now passed away…are irreplaceable.”
