There’s only one type of national award specifically for public radio, and WNPR programs have won three of them. John Dankosky’s “Where We Live” and Colin McEnroe’s “The Colin McEnroe Show” were cited by the Public Radio News Directors Inc. Conference for excellence. John and WWL won first place for “Best Call-In Show” and second place for “Best News and Public Affairs.” Colin’s show won in the “Best Interview” category.
