Farewell to a beloved and revered leader within the FOX61 newsroom. Senior Executive Producer Spencer Brooks is leaving after 7 years to accept a major job at TEGNA sister station WUSA in DC.
Also bidding farewell to FOX61: Brian Didlake. He’s filed his last report for the station. He can’t yet say where he’s headed, but from congratulatory tweets it sounds like a station in a warmer climate.
And on the print side, Hartford Courant reporter and podcast producer Mike Hamad is headed to…Hearst CT. Mike was the music critic for the Courant from 2013-18.
