Former Hartford based Associated Press reporter Noreen Gillespie is joining NBC News as senior vice president in charge of news standards and practices.
Since leaving the Hartford market, years ago, Gillespie has held several increasingly responsible roles within the AP including, but not limited to; global business editor, deputy managing editor, and deputy sports editor. Most recently she was a journalism director with Microsoft. She begins at NBC at the end of the month.
