Don Noel has died. The Hartford Courant, one of the news outlets for which he worked, has this excellent remembrance of him written by Chris Keating. Certainly worth the read to understand Don’s multi-faceted life.
In late June we told you that Don had posted on Facebook that he was near the end; it offered a chance for many who worked with him to say goodbye.
We enjoyed the Courant’s photo of Don and longtime broadcaster Bob Douglas moderating a debate between Joe Lieberman and Lowell Weicker in the epic 1988 U.S. Senate race:
