Former Senate Democrat communications director and Connecticut radio newsman Pat Scully has a new project with a familiar look. Along with David Mattei, Scully has launched the Massachusetts version of CTCapitolReport.com. It’s called MassCapitolNews.com. It launched about two months ago and Scully reports strong growth. He also obviously has sponsors.
The Scully project follows a similar website launch in New York state known as the EmpireReportNewYork(run by J.P. Miller) and also inspired by Tom Dudchik’s CTCapitolReport, with styling cues from the DrudgeReport.
One last thing – if David Mattei’s name sounds familiar, he is the brother of Chris Mattei who is running for attorney general in Connecticut as a Democrat.
