A discussion of pending legislation at the state capitol that would authorize workers compensation benefits for firefighters diagnosed with PTSD, linked to horrors they witness on the job.

The Death Penalty:

There are several proposals to bring it back in Connecticut. Will it get considered? Even if Connecticut reinstated the death penalty, how would it work and would anyone ever actually get executed?

Rep. Mike France, (R)-Preston, chair of the General Assembly Conservative Caucus is on this week. So, too, is Mike Lawlor, former Undersecretary for Criminal Justice under Gov. Daniel Malloy, and he currently teaches criminal justice at the University IG New Haven.

Southern Connecticut State University Assistant Professor of Political Science Jonathan Wharton is the analyst this week.
