Dave Calabrese, the voice over artist known as Trapper Dave during his time at WPLR, has died of a heart attack. He was skiing with friends when he was stricken. They did their best to help revive him, but he died “among friends” according to social media posts.
Calabrese was at WPLR from 1977 to 1983 and also worked for the Connecticut Radio Network.
